Mushrooms: reaching a better understanding and integration of their ecosystem services

"Little is known about fungi. Yet they offer basic and much essential ecosystem services: 70% of terrestrial species have developed a symbiosis with mycorrhizae. This symbiosis significantly boosts root absorption of water, phosphorus and nitrogen: the three most limiting factors for agricultural production.
They are the largest living organisms on earth, they are found in water, in the air, in us, in the ground. Who has ever heard of them at school?
Let's talk to the point, let's talk well, let's talk mushrooms!"
